Description:
One or three conductive cores, armour made of two galvanised tapes, ethylene propylene rubber insulation, outer sheath made of low-fire-hazard polyvinyl chloride plastic with low smoke and gas emission. Application: Designed for distribution of electric energy in stationary installations, at rated alternating voltage of 6, 10, 20, 35 kV with a frequency of 50 Hz for networks with isolated and grounded neutral. They are used in explosion-hazardous areas of all classes, as well as in 6-35 kV distribution networks at industrial and infrastructure facilities. The cables are intended for stationary installation in the air, indoors, in dry soils, in cable collectors for single and group installation, in conditions of exposure to ozone and solar radiation, as well as where there is a risk of mechanical damage. Cables can be laid in dry soils (sand, sandy-clayey and normal soil with humidity less than 14%), on routes without limitation of the difference in levels.

Design:

1. Current-carrying core - round copper multi-wire compacted core.

2. Screen along the core - extruded semiconductive layer.

3. Insulation - made of cross-linked ethylene propylene rubber.

4. Insulation screen - extruded semiconductive layer.

5. Combined screen - in the form of a layer applied by a winding of conductive paper or conductive polymer tape and a winding of copper wires, on top of which a PP tape is spirally applied.

6. Inner shell - made of PVC plastic with low fire hazard, flame retardant, with reduced smoke and gas emission.

7. Armor pad – made of PVC plastic with low fire hazard, flame retardant, with reduced smoke and gas emission.

8. Armor – made of two galvanized steel tapes.

9. The casing is made of PVC plastic with low fire hazard, does not spread combustion, with reduced smoke and gas emission.

Temperature modes:

Ambient temperature during cable operation: from –50°С to +50°С.
• Relative air humidity (at temperatures up to +35°C) - 98%.
• Minimum cable laying temperature without preheating: –15°С.
• Maximum long-term permissible operating temperature of the conductors is +90°C.
• Permissible heating of the cable core in overload mode is no more than 130°C.
• The maximum permissible temperature of the cable core during a short circuit is no more than 250°C.
• The maximum permissible temperature of the copper cable screen during a short circuit is no more than 350°C.
• The maximum heating temperature of the core during a short circuit under the conditions of cable non-flammability is no more than 400°C.
• The duration of cable operation in overload mode is no more than 8 hours per day and no more than 1000 hours over the service life.
• Maximum allowable bending radius during installation:
- single-core cables - 15 Dн;
- three-core cables - 12 Dн.

Note:

The screen cross-section is selected depending on the short-circuit currents. It is possible to manufacture a cable with an increased screen cross-section.

• cross-section of at least 25 sq.mm. for cables with a core cross-section of 150 - 300 sq.mm.;
• cross-section of at least 35 sq. mm. for cables with a core cross-section of 400 sq. mm. and more.
