Overview:
CONSTRUCTION OF THE CABLE VVGng(A)-LS
- CONDUCTIVE CORE - copper, single-wire or multi-wire, round or sector-shaped.
- INSULATION - made of low-flammability polyvinyl chloride compound. Insulated cores of multi-core cables have distinctive colors. Insulation of neutral cores is blue. Insulation of ground cores is two-colored (green-yellow).
- TWISTING - insulated cores of two-, three-, four- and five-core cables are twisted; two-, three- and five-core cables have cores of the same cross-section, four-core cables have all cores of the same cross-section or one core of a smaller cross-section (ground or neutral core).
- INNER EXTRUDED SHEATH - is applied over twisted insulated cores made of a PVC composition with reduced fire hazard, which fills the gaps between the cores. The thickness of the inner sheath is not less than 0.3 mm.
- OUTER SHEATH - made of PVC compound with reduced fire hazard. For cables with a cross-section of round conductive cores up to 16 mm2, it is permissible to apply an outer sheath with simultaneous filling of the gaps between the cores. In this case, the inner extruded sheath is not applied.
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE CABLE VVGng(A)-LS
- Operating temperature range: from -50°С to +50°С
- Relative humidity at temperatures up to +35°C: up to 98%
- Laying and installation of cables without preheating is carried out at a temperature not lower than: -15°C
- Minimum bending radius during installation: single-core cables - 10 external diameters; multi-core cables - 7.5 external diameters.
- The cables do not spread combustion when laid in bundles.
- Smoke formation during combustion or smoldering of cables does not lead to a decrease in light transmittance in the test chamber by more than 50%
- Long-term permissible heating temperature of cable cores during operation: +70°С
- Maximum permissible heating temperature of wires at short-circuit currents: +160°С
- The duration of the short circuit should not exceed 4 s.
- Permissible heating of cable cores in emergency mode is no more than +80°С
- The duration of cable operation in emergency mode should not exceed 8 hours per day, but not more than 1000 hours over the service life.
- Maximum temperature of cable conductive cores under the condition of cable non-ignition during short circuit: + 400°С
- Construction length of cables for cross-sections of main conductors:
- from 1.5 to 16 mm2 - 450 m . from 25 to 70 mm2 - 300 m . from 95 mm2 and above - 200 m.
Service life: 30 years. Warranty period of operation - 5 years from the date of commissioning of cables, but not later than 6 months from the date of manufacture.
