The VENSYS 136 3.5 MW wind turbine is a gearless, direct-drive model from the 3.5 MW platform. It features a permanent magnet synchronous generator and an IGBT full-power converter. Designed for IEC Wind Class IIIA sites, the turbine is available with a 136.6 m rotor and hub heights up to 161.2 m. The gearless design is engineered to reduce maintenance costs and increase yield, particularly in partial-load ranges. The generator cooling system is fully encapsulated, protecting components from environmental factors.
