Overview:
Design and principle of operation
The FSG filter-separator is a welded cylindrical vessel with inlet and outlet ports. The gas flow entering the housing is slowed, and large particles settle in a settling tank. To improve efficiency, a centrifugal purification stage and coalescing filter elements are used.
After coalescence, the liquid separates and flows into the lower tank, while the purified gas is directed to the outlet. This design ensures reliable phase separation and high purification efficiency with minimal flow resistance.
Standard designs of FSG
- FSG-Ts - with a centrifugal stage;
- FSG-TsK - with a droplet separator after the centrifugal zone;
- FSG-CF - with a fine filter element;
- FSG-CKF is a combined three-stage separator (centrifugal, droplet separator, filter);
- FSG-TsFK is a two-stage coalescing filter with a centrifugal unit;
- FSG-TsKFK is a three-stage unit with two preliminary stages and a filter.
