Sorbent "Technoklin-GR"

The granular sorbent "Technoclean-GR" is produced by granulating expanded perlite and, due to the porous structure and treated surface of the perlite granules, is capable of absorbing a third of its mass of processed products from oil and fuel oil spills in water. The sorbent based on granulated perlite meets all the main requirements for sorbents for collecting spilled petroleum products in an aquatic environment: • effectively absorbs oil or petroleum products; • technologically advanced - its application uses traditional technical means of application, subsequent collection and disposal of used material; • the sorbent material for collecting spilled petroleum products is hydrophobic and at the same time is well wetted by oil hydrocarbons in a wide range of their viscosity; • has high buoyancy; • has the ability to be stored for a long time; • has no harmful effect on the environment; • has no allergenic effect; • is absolutely fireproof; • does not disturb the natural ecological balance in case of prolonged stay in water.
