Oktamix Defoam SL-1 (Defoamer)

Defoam SI-1 defoamer is a transparent or opalescent polymethylsiloxane liquid of linear and cyclic structure. Composition: polydimethylsiloxane liquid, consisting of a mixture of polymers of linear and cyclic structure. Defoam SI-1 defoamer belongs to hazard class 4 according to GOST 12.1.007 in terms of its impact on the human body. APPLICATION: Used in oil and petroleum product refining processes (distillation and vacuum distillation, oxidation of low-viscosity tars, dewatering of distillates, pumping out fuel oils and bottling hot bitumen into bunkers). It is also used in the production of mineral oils, additives, cutting fluids, lubricants, etc. RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE: The consumption of the defoamer is set individually for different environments in accordance with the method of application. The effective working concentration is 0.1 ... 0.005%. ADVANTAGES: Non-toxic. Contains no hazardous additives. Environmentally safe. Thermally stable. Chemically inert, explosion-proof, and flame-retardant. Can be used over a wide temperature range from -40°C to +200°C. STORAGE: Store the product in a closed container in a dry, clean place, away from flammable materials, heat sources, and direct sunlight. Recommended storage temperature: 5–35°C. Avoid deep freezing. Recommended shelf life: 24 months.
