Stuwamix Bentonite Mixture

The main advantages of STÜVAMIX bentonite over other bentonites and drilling mixtures:

2. STÜVAMIX is based on sodium bentonite with a high montmorillonite content of approximately 90%. This ensures the highest mud yield with a viscosity of 20 mPa*s at a rate of 34 m³ per ton of bentonite. This minimizes bentonite consumption and saves on bentonite to produce drilling mud of the same quality.
3. Contains virtually no sand (up to 0.01%), which has a beneficial effect on the operation and durability of drilling pumps.
4. The fastest dissolution (5-10 minutes) after the start of mixing, therefore, unlike other drilling fluids, STÜVAMIX can be used for drilling operations immediately after preparation.
5. The finest grinding of STÜVAMIX bentonite leads to an increase in the surface area of the bentonite plates and, consequently, to its better dissolution and high filtration characteristics of the solution.
6. The viscosity of STUVAMIX drilling fluid is stable from the start of preparation. This means that the fluid's properties reach operational levels immediately after mixing and remain unchanged for 3-4 days. Therefore, drilling operations can continue for several days without the need to replace the fluid.
7. Thanks to the inhibitors present in STUVAMIX, swelling of viscous formations is prevented during drilling, and the viscosity of the fluid is always maintained within the working range. After drilling, the STUVAMIX solution can be simply pumped out without the use of additional activators.
8. Regulation of rheological parameters is achieved by changing the concentration of STÜVAMIX in the drilling fluid.
9. Waterproof plastic packaging allows you to store STÜVAMIX bentonite on site in any weather and living conditions.
10. The product is not sensitive to low temperatures.
