Potassium humate Reagent (PHR)

GKR is designed to reduce fluid loss, dilute and stabilize the rheological properties of water-based drilling fluids. In addition, the reagent improves the inhibiting properties of solutions, is most effective in potassium systems as an additional source of potassium ions, which in turn allows to reduce the need for potassium chloride by 25%. The use of GKR in combination with polymers increases their functional capabilities and significantly reduces the consumption of polymers, primarily CMC. Its use is advisable in the form of a pre-prepared solution to provide polymer-humate complexes. Currently, a similar reagent is widely used in foreign practice under the trade names "K-17"; "K-lig"; "XKB-lig"; "KEM-lig".
