Description:
The RAS reagent is designed to control the filtration of water-based drilling mud with a wide range of mineralization from fresh to salt-saturated without a significant increase in viscosity and shear stress. It is used in the construction of oil and gas wells and in directional drilling. MAIN ADVANTAGES • can be used under high temperatures; • works at any salinity; • improves the stability of the solution; • slows down the accumulation of cuttings; • accelerates the formation of a thin, smooth, hard filter cake; • increases the bearing capacity of the solution; • is effective at elevated temperatures up to 150 0C.

In solutions with a low solids content, the recommended dosage is 0.20-0.60%. In salt-saturated water-based solutions, the recommended dosage is 0.40-2.5%.
