Description:
A forced-circulation furnace is a high-temperature device used for industrial heat treatment. PKTs series furnaces are distinguished by highly uniform temperature field inside the working chamber. Circulation evenly distributes temperatures inside the furnace with the ability to be adjusted. The use of high-quality thermal insulation ensures low operating costs and maintains the temperature cycle. Chamber electric resistance furnaces with forced air circulation are ideal for the following technological processes: — drying; — annealing; — artificial aging; — preheating; — thermal strengthening; — for technological processes requiring highly uniform temperature field; — heat treatment of non-ferrous metals, especially aluminum, which is very demanding of uniformity;
Overview:

Main characteristics

Continuous operating temperature °C 850
Connection 380, 3-phase
Full description of the ovens:
  • The furnace chamber volume can vary widely, offering a tailored solution tailored to your specific needs. This concept allows you, as the customer, to avoid overpaying for unnecessary volume. This is a very important aspect of this furnace.
  • The maximum operating temperature of the oven, designed for a wide range of tasks, reaches 850°C.
  • One of the main advantages of this oven is its temperature uniformity during holding, which is ±5°C. Higher temperatures can also be achieved by making additional adjustments and modifications to the oven.
  • The furnace utilizes an internal muffle principle, which is made of heat-resistant steel 20x25n20s2 (AISI 314) or 20x23n18 (AISI 310S), with an operating temperature of up to 1100°C.
  • Horizontal air circulation with optimal distribution via a fan unit located on the rear wall of the housing. The muffle openings are positioned to ensure the most efficient mixing of the furnace atmosphere.
  • This oven has a single-zone temperature control in the oven working chamber.
  • The widely used Thermodat 16e6 is used to control the furnace and offers a wide range of necessary functions.
  • The control accuracy of the Thermodat 16e6 allows for ±1°C
  • It is also possible to implement furnace control on other controllers.
  • Control of the power section using solid-state relays
  • In addition to the main temperature control, the furnace has an independent emergency shutdown channel for shutting down the furnace when the set temperature threshold is exceeded.
  • Main and emergency thermocouples of the TXA (K) type (installation of a TPP (S) thermocouple is possible)
  • The furnace has four-sided heating (bottom, arch, left and right walls)
  • Spiral heaters made of Eurofechral GSSY (X23U5T), located on ceramic tubes and positioned between the heat-resistant body of the working chamber and the furnace wall.
  • Also on the back wall (it is possible to implement it on the side walls, arch and door) a ceramic channel is made for placing an additional thermocouple

Additional equipment for the PKTs series furnace with forced atmosphere circulation up to 850°C:

  • By increasing the heater control zones, this option improves temperature uniformity. This option is typically effective for large furnace volumes.
  • The furnace is controlled by a thermocouple placed on the sample being processed.
  • Heat-resistant boxes – allow for high purity of the shielding gas, bulk processing of parts, and heat treatment in powders.
  • Controlled dampers in the furnace hearth and in the furnace roof provide controlled cooling.
  • Blowing air through the furnace chamber using a fan from outside speeds up the cooling process and is also necessary for controlled cooling of the charge.
  • Fixtures for complex part geometries and/or placing parts in a suspended state.
  • External recorders, including paper recorders.
