Description:
The single-engine Bell 407 helicopter is a legendary machine that completed a record-breaking around-the-world flight in 2006-2007. In 189 days, the helicopter covered nearly 58,000 kilometers, landing at both the North and South Poles along the way. The multi-role Bell 407 was developed by the American company Bell Helicopter Textron based on the Bell 206L-4 Long Ranger helicopter. The hub and blades of the four-bladed main rotor are made of composite material; the fuselage has been widened compared to the base model (increasing cabin capacity). The glass area has also been increased by 35%, allowing passengers to enjoy panoramic views during the flight. The Rolls-Royce/Allison 250-C47 turboshaft engine is equipped with a Full Authority Directorate (FADEC) electronic engine control system. The standard configuration of the Bell 407, available for purchase from us, provides seating for six passengers and one crew member. The Bell 407's price reflects the market value of this reliable and functional aircraft.
