Highly efficient aerodynamic design
Elang has assembled the world's best turbomachinery design team and established an overseas R&D center. Each expert has over 20 years of extensive experience in the turbomachinery industry. Elang has also established a design, development, and assembly team in China for each category. Thus, the company's technical development has been realized in various fields, including aerodynamics, rotor dynamics, gear theory, structural strength theory, external shape and structure design, component manufacturing and testing, and component assembly and testing. This has laid a solid foundation for our vision of transforming Elang into a full-scale turbomachinery manufacturer in China and the world.
Aerodynamic design at all levels
Aerodynamic design includes 1D thermodynamic analysis, 2D air duct analysis, 3D airfoil analysis, and simulation calculations, combined with Fortran programming, in-house developed simulation software, and CFD analysis. This ensures the reliability and accuracy of the compressor's aerodynamic design.
Elang's team has strong design capabilities, an extensive impeller data bank and design software to ensure aerodynamic design excellence.
Modern design technology
Following analysis and modeling by a professional analytical agency, stress analysis and deformation calculations are performed for the impeller rotating at rated speed. The stress analysis results provide a compelling basis for verifying the impeller's strength to prevent accidents caused by impeller cracking during actual unit operation. The calculated deformation serves as the basis for determining the impeller-inlet clearance to prevent mutual scratching of the rotor and rotor during operation.
Rotor Dynamics Design
Professional software is used for rotor dynamics analysis and bearing design. Energy consumption is minimized by operating the bearing at a reasonable temperature, pressure, and oil film thickness. Rotor dynamics analysis based on bearing stiffness and damping helps achieve reasonable vibration levels and sufficient rotor stability, avoiding operation near critical rotational speeds.
Bearing life is maximized by designing with professional plain bearing design software and Babbitt alloy on the surface. Because the rotor is supported by inclined bearing pads and the bearing bushings self-align under load changes, mechanical friction losses are minimized, ensuring optimum unit performance under varying loads.
Highly efficient IGV
Flow regulation and constant pressure control are achieved through precise lGV control to maintain high-efficiency operation of the centrifugal compressor.

Quality control
We implement the production and manufacturing concept of “design and development - testing and verification - operation optimization - marketing - continuous innovation”, and conduct comprehensive testing and verification of key design results of the aerodynamic characteristics, structural strength and heat transfer of the unit to ensure the efficiency, stability and reliability of the centrifugal compressor.
