It was founded in 2006 and unites the largest Russian manufacturers of aviation equipment. 90.3% of the shares belong to Rosimushchestvo. The holding develops and produces aircraft of all types: combat (fighters, missile-carrying bombers, trainers); civil (narrow- and wide-body); transport; special-purpose (amphibians, refueling aircraft). The corporation's structure includes more than 30 research and production associations, design bureaus, and aircraft factories. UAC is one of the world's top three manufacturers of aviation equipment.
