Kazan Aviation Production Association named after S. P. Gorbunov (KAPO named after S. P. Gorbunov) is a leading Russian enterprise in the field of design, production and after-sales support of missile carriers and special-purpose aircraft. It is engaged in the development, production and after-sales service of military, special and civil aviation equipment. In different years, it produced Tu-22 bombers and its modifications, Il-62 long-range passenger airliners, Tu-160 strategic supersonic bombers. Currently, the plant carries out small-scale production of Tu-214 civil aircraft, modernization of Tu-22M3 and Tu-160 bombers.
