JSC "Inverter Plant"
Joint-Stock Company "Inverter Plant" is located in the city of Orenburg, Russian Federation, founded in 1743. The name means "city on the Ori" after the original site of the foundation at the confluence of two rivers - Or and Yaik, which since 1775 has been called Ural. The city served as a stronghold for the protection of the south-eastern border of the state and a center for economic communication with the peoples of the East. Since 1934, it has had the administrative status of a regional center. On March 2, 1982, the state commission signed the act of commissioning the Orenburg Plant of Complete Switchgear, the construction of which had been underway since 1979. It became the head enterprise of the production association "Elektropreobrazovatel". For 40 years, tens of thousands of sets of various types of electrical equipment manufactured by JSC "Inverter Plant", which have passed certification and attestation tests, have been successfully operated at facilities of all reliability categories. The enterprise has repeatedly received regional, federal and international awards - "Best Enterprise of the Region", "Leader of Business in the Volga Region", "Winner of the All-Russian Competition "1000 Best Enterprises of Russia", "Leader of the Economy", "Leader of Russia - 2013" and others. Uninterruptible power supply systems and operational direct current systems of various series are laureates of the Federal Program "100 Best Goods of Russia". Today, JSC "Inverter Plant" is a modern, sufficiently equipped, high-tech enterprise that provides a full production cycle, has its own scientific and technical center, testing laboratories, and a service department. Over the past few years, the production capacities of the enterprise have been reoriented to the release, using high technologies, of new generation electrical equipment on a unified element base, with a microprocessor control system. Every year, funds are invested in modernization and equipping production capacities with modern systems, improving the manufactured equipment taking into account changing requirements, expanding the product line.
