Joint-Stock Company "Elektrokabel" Kolchuginsky Plant" is a universal enterprise that offers more than 100,000 types of cable products - from traditional to unique developments of plant specialists. JSC "EKZ" is one of the largest Russian manufacturers of cable and wire products (KPP) and metal mesh. The enterprise is located in the city of Kolchugino, Vladimir region. Its history dates back to 1871 - from the moment of organizing wire production as part of a copper processing plant. However, the official date of birth of EKZ is considered to be 1939, when an independent production facility was established on the basis of the Kolchugtsvetmet plant, consisting of cable, rolling and wire, metal weaving shops and iron foundries.
