Description:
The SR series worm servo gear reducer is specifically designed for motion control applications requiring maximum torsional stiffness, minimum angular backlash, and high accelerating torque. The MR V 50 / 20 features a direct coupling design (type MR) where the servo motor is fitted directly into the worm via a key, slots, and hub clamp, ensuring maximum compactness and zero‑backlash coupling. The worm gear pair is manufactured with a ground and superfinished involute (ZI) profile and a nickel‑bronze worm wheel, optimised for high efficiency and low noise. The housing is made of rigid and precise single‑piece cast iron, with universal mounting and a square servo motor flange. The reducer is available with reduced angular backlash (≤ 7 arcmin) and is suitable for high‑dynamic applications such as robotics, packaging machinery, and machine tools. The servo motor coupling is designed for easy installation and removal, with a hub clamp system that eliminates fretting corrosion.
