The UNICO 2800, 2802, and 2802S single-beam spectrophotometers operate in the 190–1100 nm spectral range. They feature proprietary optical elements with protective coatings mounted on a robust baseplate. Deuterium and halogen lamps serve as radiation sources, and are user-replaceable and adjustable. A programmable lamp runtime counter allows for scheduled lamp use and timely replacement. The 2802S model is designed to meet pharmacological testing requirements.
