The HRC™e high pressure grinding rolls (HPGR) is an evolution of the industry standard for grinding efficiency. Using innovative flange technology and an anti-skew assembly, the HRC™e HPGR delivers energy efficiency (up to 15% improvement), decreased circulating load (up to 24%), high throughput (up to 19% increase), and ease of maintenance. Key features include flanges that eliminate the edge effect by evenly distributing material, maximizing crushed material; a skew control system that balances loads ensuring tires remain parallel for maximum efficiency; simple edge segment replacement with bolted design; dust enclosure separating crushing zone from critical mechanical components; and HPGRSense™ digital solution for continuous roll monitoring with 3D representation of roll condition. Metso is the only OEM to successfully operate reliable flanges.
