Description:
The SCI-1524R High-Speed Refrigerated Micro Centrifuge is ideal for centrifugation of temperature-sensitive samples such as live cells, animals or proteins. Features an electronic magnetic door locking system, automatic pre-cooling (compressor starts when set temperature is below ambient), and a short pre-cooling time of only 7 minutes from room temperature to 4°C. Temperature range -20°C to 40°C. Up to 9 program storage capacity. Three-layer sealed rotors ensure safe centrifugation. Rotor imbalance detection alarm. Acceleration/deceleration in 9 steps. Applications include pelleting of DNA and RNA, separation of antibody and protein precipitates, enzymatic tests, and bacterial and yeast cell fractionation.
