Description:
The Qcut 500 A is a large cut-off machine designed for precise and efficient cutting of metallographic samples. It features wet abrasive cutting, achieving very fine surface finishes and minimal thermal influence on the specimen. The machine is equipped with a variable speed drive (1000-2800 rpm) and a 15 kW main drive motor. It offers automatic X, Y, and optional Z-axis movement for precise positioning. The table is made of stainless steel with T-slot for flexible clamping. The machine is compatible with cutting wheels up to 508 mm (20") in diameter and has a maximum cutting capacity of 190 mm. A wide range of clamping devices (Qtool) is available for securing workpieces of various shapes and sizes.
