The multi-layered composite body is meticulously hand-built by embedding premium high-tensile synthetic fiber cords and rigid external vacuum-reinforcing steel rings directly within a thick, high-purity EPDM rubber matrix. Synthesized from premium elastomers, the liner provides superior chemical resistance against water treated with aggressive chemical agents, dosing additives, and mild acidic/alkaline process effluents.
Departing from traditional full-face rubber designs, this assembly utilizes a high-performance ring face sealing (reduced face) profile. A solid internal anti-pullout steel O-ring core is vulcanized directly inside the narrow sealing rim, establishing a positive mechanical lock within the flange groove to prevent bead unseating under sudden hydraulic surges or extreme lateral offsets. Outfitted with corrosion-resistant Stainless Steel 304 PN10 swivel backing flanges, the backing rings rotate a full 360 degrees to facilitate bolt-hole alignment across wide installation gaps without imparting installing pre-stress to the rubber body.
