As an API Registered Firm, TSM offers project drafting and design, product design, API 8C, 4F and 16A monograms, and 3D CAD modelling and FEA software. Design input involves establishment of design requirements, customer involvement, legal/statutory requirements, conceptual design layouts, and cost budgets. Design output includes part and assembly drawings, 2D and 3D CAD models, acceptance criteria, detailed calculations and FEA, material specifications, procedures, and operational manuals. Design verification involves conformity to industry code specifications, assembly and testing, pull or pressure tests using strain gauges, and computer modelling. Design validation involves assembly and testing of the final product, functional testing, and customer feedback/field performance.
