Description:
The Timberline Solar® ES 2 is the world's first nailable solar shingle – a building‑integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) roofing shingle that generates 57 watts of clean solar energy while functioning like a traditional asphalt shingle. It features a 23% increase in power output over the previous generation. The shingle installs directly onto the roof alongside Timberline® traditional asphalt shingles, using the same crew, tools, and expertise. It generates solar energy without the need for bulky solar panels mounted in racks drilled into the roof. The shingle is completely compatible with all other GAF Timberline® shingles.
