PT Series Pipette Checking Balance

The BEL Engineering PT Series is a complete system for pipette checking, designed for the verification of piston pipettes using the gravimetric method. The embedded "Pipette Check" software allows users to test the correct operation of a pipette by selecting a verification method. At the end of the test, a detailed report is generated with overall test results (compliant or non-compliant pipette) and relative partial values. The -PT models include an evaporation trap, a special weighing container designed to considerably reduce liquid evaporation during the pipette test procedure. The evaporation trap creates a saturated area of water vapor above the test tube, minimizing evaporation and ensuring reliable results, especially for small volumes. The balance features a 5-inch color touchscreen display (800×480), automatic internal calibration, and a draft shield with 3 sliding doors. On-board software functions include Pipette Check, piece counting, check weighing, percentage weighing, statistics, animal weighing, peak hold, density determination, recipe, and textile. Verifiable pipette types include fixed volume, variable volume, air displacement, and positive displacement. Verification methods follow ISO 8665 standard.
