Semi-Trailed Reclamation Harrow BPM-5 "Zubr"

The BPM-5 "Zubr" semi-trailer melioration harrow is designed for raising fallow land, crushing, cutting, and incorporating plant residues. This equipment enables the raising of land that has not been cultivated for many years, allowing for the soil to be contaminated with forest shrubs up to 12 cm in diameter. The harrow is also used for restructuring and loosening compacted soils, replacing traditional tillage (replacing moldboard plow and subsequent harrowing in a single pass), and moldboardless tillage. The weight and unique geometry of the working element—a notched disc with a diameter of 1000 mm—facilitate the disc's penetration into the soil, resulting in significant fuel savings. The harrow provides high cutting and cutting power and is suitable for cutting large volumes of woody plants and complex root systems, bringing the root system to the surface, eliminating further uprooting.
