Sunlite Horizon Sunflower Head (SLH 30)

The SunLite Horizon is a sunflower head designed for efficient, sustainable harvesting. The head features wear-resistant, trough-shaped (U-shaped) tips specifically developed for gentle sunflower harvesting. The height-adjustable helper roll feeds plants gently to the massive 620mm diameter auger, pulling them through with great care. The integrated horizontal chopper uses counter-rotating blades to prevent blockages and deliver clean cuts at high speeds. Each chopper gearbox is individually protected by its own cam-type clutch. Wide skids and a spring-floated bar provide excellent contouring. Hydraulic height control is conveniently operated from the combine's joystick. The slim side panels minimize vibration and prevent shattering or damage to standing crop. The minimum clearance between the cutterbar and chopper is 300mm, with a maximum clearance of 750mm. The head achieves minimum losses even at high ground speeds (>10 km/h). The SLH series is available in working widths from 6.20 m to 12.00 m. The top model SLH 40 has a working width of 12.00 m, weight of 4,000 kg, and 51 pans.
