Feed Extruder FE 500

The FE 500 is a medium-performance feed extruder designed for a broad range of applications in feed production. It compresses material at high pressures and heats it to high temperatures, enabling various feed-related applications. The extrusion process facilitates the removal of anti-nutritional substances, changes texture, and expands and sterilizes the feed. For cattle and related animals, extrusion increases the amount of by-pass protein, resulting in a tastier feed with higher nutritional value. The extruder is available in two versions: one for dry extrusion, the other for wet extrusion. The extrusion line can be supplemented with the steam conditioner FK 500. The heart of the extruder is the working unit, which consists of chambers and a screw shaft with shear elements. The machine is powered by an electromotor with a power output of 55 kW. The FE 500 reaches a performance between 10.8 and 16.8 tons per day. The wiring is offered in three versions: CLASSIC, CLEVER (with PLC and HMI), and CLEVER MAX (with frequency converter of the main drive). The extruder can be supplemented with hoppers, conveyors, and equipment for pre-treatment of the material.
