NS 8000 GRAIN DRYER

The NS 8000 is an indirect-heated grain dryer of the NS series, designed for hygienic and harmless drying of products entering the food-stuff market. The dryer features an all-metal three-layer jacketed body that is closed with an engine room from the front and fans on the face from the backside. The three-jacket body is modular and its length (6, 8, 10, and 12 m) directly influences the dryer's performance. These three jackets define four spaces: the heating area (where combustion products from natural gas circulate), the heat exchanger space (where flowing air takes over heat), the dried product space (where product flows through a stainless steel sieve), and the ambient space. Drying runs continuously. The temperature in the dryer's heating system ranges from 160 to 360°C depending on the product type and temperature gradient. The drying temperature ranges from 40 to 120°C. The NS 8000 has a capacity of 12.8 m³ and is equipped with an upper feeding screw and a lower unloading screw. The dryer's operation is controlled by a programmable automatic device.
