Overview:

GEOLOGICAL OBJECTIVES

  • Optimization of obtaining geological and geophysical information - selection and adjustment of: - coring intervals; - intervals, methods and time of the variable part of the mandatory detailed research GIRS.
  • Operational lithological-stratigraphic sectional partition.
  • Rapid allocation of reservoirs.
  • Determining the nature of saturation of reservoirs.
  • Assessment of reservoir properties (FES) reservoirs.
  • Identification of reference horizons.
  • The solution to these problems is provided by geological and geochemical studies, including:
  • sludge selection with the frequency specified by the statement of work;
  • determination of the percentage of the main lithological differences in the samples of sludge (construction of the sludge profile and lithological column);
  • lithological description of rocks selected in the form of sludge, and a layered lithological description of the core;
  • determination of the percentage ratio of calcite, dolomite and insoluble residue in carbonate-bearing rocks;
  • luminescent-bituminological analysis (LBA) of samples of sludge and core;
  • registration of the gas content of the total (in abs.%) and component-wise (C1-C5) in the gas-air mixture obtained by continuous partial degassing of the BR; determination of the actual specific gas saturation of BR by thermal vacuum degassing (TVD) of samples and subsequent chromatographic analysis on C1-C5, (cm3 / dm3);
  • determination of specific gas saturation of rocks according to chromatographic analysis of a gas-air mixture obtained after thermal vacuum degassing (TVD) of sludge and core samples;
  • determination of the porosity coefficient of clay deposits for predicting and evaluating the ARPD;
  • determination of residual oil saturation, mineralogical and bulk density and porosity of core samples by automatic liquid distillation (AFL).

High qualification of specialists of Udmurtneftegeofizika LLC allows the company to successfully work at various geological sections with all types of reservoirs and drilling fluids used. The obtained geological information is processed and interpreted directly during the work, which allows the customer’s geological department to expedite decision-making to increase the efficiency of the drilling process.

Terms of Udmurtneftegeofizika LLC, allowing to work effectively in the field of GTI:

  • The geological and geochemical laboratory of the GTI, which carries out additional incoming control, processing of sludge samples, packaging and processing of accompanying documents for delivery to the regional core storage at the request of the Customer. The GTI laboratory is a structural unit of the GTI expedition.
  • Presence of own metrological site.
  • The presence of a repair site.
  • Availability of a certified gas mixture for calibration of gas analytical equipment.
