LY1200 Series 50Hz Gas Generator Set

The LY1200 Series is a 50 Hz gas-fuelled electric generating set built for continuous power production from natural gas, associated petroleum gas, low-concentration CBM, biogas, industrial gas, biomass gas, blast furnace gas, and coal-to-gas. It uses a 170 mm cylinder bore and precision core components, with a British Stamford generator and Swiss ABB turbocharger. Depending on the gas application, the electrical power output is 830 kW to 1200 kW: 1200 kW on natural gas, 1150 kW on biogas, 1100 kW on low-concentration CBM, and 830–900 kW on associated petroleum gas, industrial gas, biomass gas, blast furnace gas, and coal-to-gas. Fuel consumption ranges from 2213 kW to 2864 kW thermal across the gas variants. Electrical efficiency is 37.0–41.9%, thermal efficiency is 45.5–48.6%, and total efficiency is 85.6–87.4%. The control package includes innovative circuit control technology and an advanced digital control system. NOx emissions are stated as ≤500 mg/Nm³ at 5% O₂ dry exhaust. The series is applied in sewage-treatment biogas, biomass gas, landfill gas, industrial gas, and other gas-to-power projects.
