Electrodes classify:

• by appointment (for welding carbon, low alloy, alloy and other steel grades);
• by type of coating (basic, acidic, cellulosic, rutile, mixed);
• according to the position of welding (bottom, vertical, "boat").

Today, the electrode shop of OJSC MMK-METIZ is one of the most advanced in Russia, the company can offer 38 brands of electrodes, in addition, a special-purpose electrodes production line is operating in the shop. All products are certified, undergo strict control and meet the most stringent requirements. Thanks to the commissioning of two packaging lines, high quality in the packaging of finished products was achieved.

It is possible to manufacture electrodes with a diameter of 2.5 mm of the following grades: ANO-21, OZS-12, UONI 13/55, OZL-8, TsT-15, OZI-3, NIAT-5, TsL-11, it is necessary to coordinate a minimum volume of 85 -350 kg, depending on the brand.

Packaging is carried out in cardboard boxes, then in shrink film, packed packs are placed on a wooden pallet of 945-1050 kg. The pallet with electrodes is pulled out with a stretch film or wrapped in a wooden crate. Weight of packs of electrodes: with rutile coating, diameter 3 mm - 5 kg, diameter 4 mm - 6.5 kg, diameter 5 mm - 6.5 kg; with the main coating, diameter 3 mm - 4.5 kg, diameter 4 mm - 6.0 kg, diameter 5 mm - 6.0 kg.
