Overview:
The Metinvest boiler sheet has a high complex of strength properties, is well welded, and is resistant to cracking and spreading.
Various delivery conditions are available for a thick sheet: hot-rolled, after normalizing or thermomechanical rolling, after heat treatment outside the mill stream.
We conduct special research and product testing. In particular, tensile and impact bending tests, simulating various modes of heat treatment of steel and assessing the mechanical characteristics of samples after temperature exposure. In our own certified laboratory, we analyze the resistance of rolled products to hydrogen sulfide cracking (HIC and SSC tests).
