Description:
Cracking pipe is used in the petrochemical industry for cracking (splitting) of petroleum products. The raw materials for them are continuously cast billets of the highest quality metal. This material must withstand high temperatures and high pressures, as well as be resistant to aggressive environments, especially oils and other petroleum products.
Overview:

The main method for the production of these pipes according to GOST 550-75 is hot pressing. This allows you to get pipe hire 5% stronger and 10% more plastic than similar rolled products, in general, the reliability of such products increases five times.

UralTrubMash LLC supplies cracked pipes at competitive prices in Moscow , Yekaterinburg , St. Petersburg and other Russian cities. The assortment of enterprises presents samples of products of the best Russian enterprises.

All products are made according to the specifications provided by GOST 550-75 , and are of high quality.

Cracking pipe application

Cracked pipes are used in the chemical industry and in industrial plants. The name of this type of pipe production is associated with the process of high-temperature distillation of oil - cracking.

The scope of cracking pipes requires products to be resistant to high temperatures, pressure drops, exposure to active substances, aggressive environments, as well as high strength characteristics.

In accordance with the technical specifications of TU 14-3r-62-2002, corrosion-resistant steel grades - st 15x5m and its analogues are used for the production of cracking pipes. During the production process, this steel undergoes additional heat treatment. For cracking, as a rule, thick-walled stainless pipes are used, since it is necessary to observe an extremely high level of strength and pressure.

There are two manufacturing techniques:

  • cold deformation;
  • hot deformation.

In both versions, a round seamless pipe of high strength is obtained.

More promising is the hot pressing method described by GOST 550-75 . Cast steel billets are used as a material for the manufacture of cracking pipes using this technology. The finished products thus obtained have a number of advantages in comparison with cold-deformed pipes and products of traditional hot rolling. They are stronger, more ductile, and most importantly provides a reduction in pressure loss of transported vehicles by almost 40%. These indicators provide a longer pipe life.

Current standards regulate the diameter (from 2.5 to 63 cm) and wall thickness (from 2 to 30 mm). For high performance use steel pipes of large diameters. Finished cracked pipes undergo a special chemical control for compliance with the specified quality.
