Measurement principle: gas chromatography. The device consists of an evaporator with a column on which methane is separated from other hydrocarbons. Methane slips and hits the detector first. After a second, the gas in the column is directed to the Backflush, and then the remaining hydrocarbons enter the detector.

As a result, the flame ionization detector gives a signal with two peaks: a methane peak and a peak corresponding to non-methane hydrocarbons. The flame ionization detector starts quite easily, provided that high-quality gases are used. The measurements are based on gas chromatographic separation of components. The measurement is based on true gas chromatography, which was done in order to avoid the catalytic effects that often occur in systems without a gas chromatographic column.

For the functioning of the system using a standard industrial computer (OS Windows XP Embedded).

User-friendly software allows you to save all chromatograms to your hard drive. However, the results can be easily interpreted. It is possible to transfer data through a network or modem connection. There are also analog and digital ports for communication with external data recording systems.
