China Oilfield Services Limited (COSL) is an integrated oilfield services provider. The company was incorporated in 2001 as a subsidiary of CNOOC Group. It operates through four main divisions: Geophysical Services, Drilling Services, Well Services, and Marine and Transportation Services. COSL covers all phases of oil and gas exploration, development, and production. The company maintains a fleet of 62 drilling rigs, 19 seismic and engineering survey vessels, and 240 oilfield services vessels. It operates in more than 40 countries across China, Southeast Asia (including Indonesia and Malaysia), the Middle East, the Americas (including Mexico), Europe (including Norway), Africa, Australia, the Far East, and Central Asia. COSL provides services to both domestic and international clients with a focus on offshore operations.
