Marine Gas Turbine 52.7 MW

The 52.7 MW (PG model) operates at 3850 rpm and has the advantage of much higher output. GE has developed a mechanical drive package for a variety of offshore projects where space is at a premium. It is particularly suitable especially for FPSOs below deck applications to free up valuable space on the upper deck. The 46.1 MW and 52.7 MW marinated gas turbine modules are built and tested to United States Navy shock requirements, and are certified by Lloyd's Register NVR and RINA. These gas turbines are ideal for applications requiring high power. These gas turbines produce low emissions, can operate on a variety of fuels and can be positioned almost anywhere on the ship to increase revenue-generating cargo or passenger space. Both are ideal for FPSOs, LNG carriers and yachts.
