The design of the Granval butterfly valve
Frame

Disk
The spherical edge swivel disc is specially designed to provide optimum shut-off and control characteristics of the valve, with high abrasion and corrosion resistance. The spherical working surface of the disc is carefully polished to ensure tightness, low torque required to turn the disc, and long seal life.
Saddle seal
The seat seal is available in a variety of materials to suit different applications. The seat seal is shaped with outer rings to provide a tight seal when the valve is installed between the flanges. This eliminates the need for additional gaskets.
