Description:

OJSC Dalmorneftegeofizika (DMNG) was established in 1965 to carry out oil and gas exploration work on the shelf of the Russian Far East. Over a 50-year period of activity, the DMNG has performed hundreds of thousands of kilometers of seismic exploration, a huge amount of gravity and magnetic exploration. The company managed not only to overcome the difficulties of the transition period of the early 90s and the crisis of 98, but also to solve a number of large-scale tasks of national importance:

DMNG, having completely retained control in the market of seismic services on the shelf of the Russian Far East (FER), confidently entered the international market;

in 1990, DMNG for the first time in Russia performed multi-client seismic surveys;

in 1995, DMNG put into operation the first ship in Russia for 3D seismic exploration;

in 1996, the first 3D survey was performed on the Russian shelf;

in 2006, the DMNG computing center became the largest center in Russia for processing marine seismic information;

2007 was marked by a production record - with two vessels DMNG completed 4.4 thousand square meters. km of 3D seismic survey, and the total amount of such work performed by the company exceeded 90% of the total Russian.

2010-2015 field seismic work on the shelf of the Russian Federation in the Arctic.

2015 - 3D seismic work in the Sea of Okhotsk by order of the Sakhalin 1 project operator Exxon Neftegas Limited.

In addition to performing the full range of marine geophysical work, the company began to actively participate in the formation of a market for such services. Actively participating in the development of all state programs for the development of oil and gas exploration on the Far East shelf and concluding cooperation agreements with all subjects of the Federation on the Far East, the company essentially assumed the role of a regional coordinator of offshore oil and gas exploration and tender processes. DMNG has put into practice leading offers for the oil industry in several areas of work. As a result, the geological and geophysical data of the DMNG have become the basis for 12 large offshore oil and gas exploration projects currently being implemented in the region, 2 of which have entered the production phase.

The constant modernization of the seismic fleet, computer center and geological interpretation service allows DMNG to expand its position in the global marine seismic market, meeting the highest standards and requirements of the oil industry. Since 2004, DMNG OJSC has begun conducting research in transit zones with the involvement of subcontracting organizations. A number of 2D-2C, 2D-4C, 3D-2C projects were completed, including the large 2D / 3D project under a contract with the Petrosakh company in the Smirnykhovsky district of Sakhalin on the Pacific coast. In 2012, a special department for conducting seismic studies in transit zones was created. At the same time, 2D TZ studies were conducted in the Sakhalin Gulf on the northwestern shelf of Sakhalin and already in 2013 on the same site, but already 3D TZ.
