JSC "Serov Mechanical Plant"

JSC “Serov Mechanical Plant” was founded on November 1, 1931, when one of the shops of the Nadezhda Metallurgical Plant was separated and transferred from the Ministry of Ferrous Metallurgy to the All-Union State Trust. The first products of the plant were the fulfillment of orders for the people's commissariats of communications, aviation, and agriculture. Since 1946, the plant began production of drilling tool parts for exploration, oil industry, and gas industry and became the leading company in the country for the production of drilling and emergency tools for exploration.
Among the main consumers of the plant’s products are the largest oil and service companies in Russia. Such as: "LUKOIL", "Surgutneftegaz", "Rosneft", "Tatneft" and many others.

Mining and exploration tools manufactured by Serov Mechanical Plant JSC are used in the fields of Norilsk, Kamchatka, Yakutia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan. Working closely with EvrazHolding, the plant is increasing the supply of products for the enterprises of this company. Active work is being carried out with the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company (UMMC).
