The explosion-proof electric motor of the 4VR series is used in the oil and gas industry, in the chemical and other related fields, and at nuclear power plants. The purpose of the electric motor is to drive the mechanisms of external and internal installations at facilities where there is a risk of explosive vapor and gas-air mixtures. Electric motors are designed for operation in continuous mode S1 or in modes S2, S3, S4. Based on the design features, they can be used indoors or under canopies in moderate or cold climates. Three-phase asynchronous explosion-proof motors are equipped with a squirrel-cage rotor. Motor housings are made of durable metal that can withstand high pressure and prevent fire from spreading.
