APPLICATION
WATEX UVL lamps are used in process water and urban area water purification, where water often can be obtained from surface water and because of that, it is a big probability that water can be contaminated with viruses, bacteria, and other pathogenic organisms. UVL lamps can destroy harmful organisms that can occur in untreated water.

OPERATING PRINCIPLE
UVL lamps are based on ultraviolet light with a specific wavelength. Light is directed to microorganisms that are in the water. It is able to damage its cells leading to death. Water disinfection is pure physical process where no chemicals are used so there are no unwanted byproducts that could pollute water or environment.

CONTAINER
The container is made from stainless steel to ensure long-term service and hold high pressure that it can be implemented in different water purification systems.

ADVANTAGES
Ultraviolet disinfection systems are highly effective and can destroy bacteria, pathogenic microorganisms, viruses in time of 1 to 5 seconds. To gain the same effect with other technologies influence time can be up to 30 minutes. There are no byproducts and no chemicals are used.
