The cables are intended for transmission and distribution of electric power in stationary electrical installations at a nominal alternating voltage of 0.66 kV and a nominal frequency of 50 Hz. The cables are used for laying single lines in cable structures and premises. They do not spread combustion when laid individually. When laying such cables in groups, it is necessary to use fire protection equipment.

Design:
The conductive core is aluminum or copper, single-wire, round, class 1 or 2 according to GOST 22483-77. Number of cores: 1-5. Four-core cables can have 3 cores of the same cross-section and one core of a smaller cross-section (ground or neutral core).
Insulation — made of polyvinyl chloride plastic (PVC). Insulated cores of multi-core cables have a distinctive color. Insulation of grounding cores is two-colored (green-yellow), neutral cores — blue.
The arrangement of the cores in the cable is that the insulated cores of 2-5 core cables are twisted into a core. In cables of the AVVG-P, VVG-P brands (flat design), two or three insulated cores are laid parallel in one plane.
The inner sheath is made of PVC plastic. It is applied to the core with simultaneous filling of the outer spaces between the cores. In cables with copper cores, it is allowed to fill the outer spaces between the cores with bundles of polypropylene or PVC plastic.
The outer sheath is made of PVC plastic. In cables with conductive cores with a cross-section of up to 16 mm² inclusive, it is permissible to apply the outer sheath simultaneously with filling the outer gaps between the cores, while the inner sheath is not applied.
