Mobile thermo-Destruction units TDU Factor-500 with SEE for more than 700 types of waste

Like its predecessors, the TDU-500 is designed for the thermal disposal of oil sludge with an extremely high content of solids, oil contaminated soils, drill cuttings, oil-containing waste resulting from accidental spills of oil and oil products, solid waste and other bulk and paste-like waste.

These installations are as mobile as possible, they are completely placed in two standard sea containers (40 and 20 ft) and can be transported from one working platform to another with their subsequent launch during the day.

The plants are successfully used in the oil refining and oil producing sectors, at solid municipal waste and hazardous waste landfills, at industrial enterprises, in the oil and gas complex, and in sea and river ports.

The sludge intended for disposal is fed by a bucket loader or by any other means into the receiving tank of the TDU-500, from where it is dosed into the combustion chamber by the screw integrated into the bottom of the funnel. The combustion chamber is a drum located on rollers and equipped with a rotary drive. Sludge burning in the drum is carried out using a burner operating on diesel or other type of fuel, with a system of forced supply of additional air. Due to the fact that the drum has a slight slope, the sludge gradually moves from the receiving funnel to the ash discharge tray, being constantly exposed to high temperature (800-1200 ° C) and active oxygen blowing.

The performance of the installation, temperature, the duration of the sludge in the combustion chamber and, as a result, the intensity of its firing, is regulated by several parameters - the feed rate of the sludge into the combustion chamber, the operating mode of the burner, the amount of air supplied and the speed of rotation of the drum.

The flue gas treatment is provided by the forced flue gas afterburning in a combustion chamber with a separate burner, dust collectors and a modern low-resistance wet scrubber that knocks out heavy metals and other harmful impurities from the flue gases.

TDU Factor units have been produced since 2011 and work at leading oil and service companies in Russia and the CIS countries, including OAO Lukoil, OAO NK Rosneft and OAO Novatek.

In October 2018, the TDU Factor-500 series passed the SEE of the on-load tap-changer of the central apparatus for more than 700 types of waste of hazard classes III, IV and V and the disposal of more than 70 of them (waste from mining and wastewater treatment; textile, chemical, food and printing industries ; MSW; construction, repair, logging, fishing waste; sleepers, etc. - a separate list is available on request).
