Description:
A mechanical deflector wedge without support on the KOM face is designed to provide the necessary deviation of the cutting milling cutters or milling cutters from the axis of the main wellbore when cutting a “window” in the casing, to deviate the cutting and boring tools when drilling an additional wellbore through the casing and subsequently downhill shank.

The design of the diverter wedge does not imply support on the face.
There are no restrictions on installation depth and temperature.
It is used in conjunction with the start-window FSO mill and the FA watermelon mill, which allows the descent, installation of the deflector wedge and the cutting of the “window” in the column for one round trip operation.
