Caspian Drilling Company LTD (CDC) is an international offshore drilling contractor. The company was established in 1996 as a joint venture between SOCAR and Santa Fe Inc. (USA). In 2009 SOCAR became the majority shareholder. CDC operates semi-submersible rigs and drillships in the Caspian Sea. The company provides world-class well engineering and drilling services. It has drilled over 100 wells as part of major Caspian oil & gas projects. CDC operates in full compliance with international standards. The company employs a multinational workforce.
