KSF 47 — Stainless Steel Filter Holder for 47 mm discs

The KSF 47 is a nonbreakable stainless steel filter holder designed for 47 mm disc membranes. It may be flame sterilized to sanitise the holder between samplings. Set pins and a locking nut on the funnel help prevent twisting and tearing of the membrane. The unit is autoclavable with the membrane in place. The funnel has a 500 mL capacity. The holder features a type 304 stainless steel screen for support, a silicone rubber stopper, and a PTFE gasket. The included #8 stopper adapts to standard 1 L vacuum filter flasks or vacuum manifold cups. Recommended vacuum is 21 inHg. Applications include microbiological sampling and laboratory filtration.
