Oil sludge is a mixture of oil, water, and solids. GN provides complete equipment packages for oil sludge processing and oil and water recovery. Oil sludge processing and hot washing technology reduces costs by removing solids and maximizing oil recovery. GN's oil sludge processing system is hot-chemically washed and then subjected to multi-stage separation to produce clean oil, water, and low-oil solids. The recovered oil can be sold to refineries, and the water can be hot-washed repeatedly. The oil content of the separated solids can be as low as 2%, and it can finally be processed by pyrolysis, incineration, or biodegradation to meet hazardous waste disposal requirements.

    Biodegradation treatment of oil sludge After hot washing, the oil content in the solid phase is reduced. Biodegradation of oil sludge involves mixing oil sludge with appropriate microorganisms, which then breaks the oil sludge down into its components. Based on the various treatment methods, biological treatment technologies can be divided into anaerobic treatment, aerobic treatment, composting, and so on.
    Oil sludge pyrolysis plant To improve processing efficiency, oil sludge is typically treated with pyrolysis after the oil sludge has been processed through thermal washing equipment. Oil sludge pyrolysis is also known as thermal desorption and catalytic pyrolysis. It is a process in which oil sludge is heated and decomposed in anoxic conditions to volatilize the light components of the crude oil, followed by condensation and reuse. During pyrolysis, oil sludge is converted into a three-phase substance—a solid consisting of organic liquid (the light component of the oil), water, inorganic minerals, and carbon residue.
