Description:

The GSP Deep Driller is an ultra-deepwater semi-submersible drilling rig designed by Friede & Goldman (ExD design). It entered service in 2005 and is classed by ABS (A1, AMS, DPS-2). The rig is capable of operating in water depths up to 7,500 ft (2,286 m) and drilling to 37,500 ft (11,430 m). It accommodates 176 persons and features a DP2+ dynamic positioning system.
