Saphir 10 Mechanical Seed Drill

The Saphir 10 is a mechanical seed drill from LEMKEN's Saphir series. It features an electric drive that easily manages seed rates between 0.5 and 500 kg/ha, with the seed rate conveniently adjusted from the tractor cab. The machine is equipped with ISOBUS functions and Tramline Control, allowing tramlines to be freely created in fields. Sowing maps can be loaded onto the terminal via the agriouter, enabling location-specific metering based on GPS data. The Saphir 10 switches on and off automatically at the headland, saving seed and ensuring complete cultivation. The pulse wheel with a diameter of 340 mm runs between two rows of seeds within the seed drill width, ensuring consistent drive behaviour. An optional radar sensor provides highly precise speed detection without slippage.
